The Art of Europe department seeks a curatorial research fellow to contribute to the study and management of decorative arts and sculpture in the collection and in support of the organization of ongoing gallery renovations, special exhibitions, and other curatorial projects.
Qualifications:
Minimum requirements include: M.A. in art history; pertinent work experience; reading knowledge of German, French, and/or Italian; aptitude with computers and databases; strong organizational skills; excellent research and writing skills. Preference will be given to candidates with a broad interest in European decorative arts and/or sculpture; those with experience handling objects; and to those with more than one year’s experience working in a curatorial department.
