We are assisting the Rochester Museum & Science Center (RMSC) with their search for a Vice President for Science & Technology.  Reporting to the CEO, the Vice President for Science & Technology is responsible for the design, development and implementation of all science communications initiatives including public and fee-based programs, and exhibitions. The RMSC Board and staff have ambitious plans for taking this institution to the next level and this position has a leadership role in this process. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker who can envision and implement programs not only in the museum but via extensive community outreach and in the digital and on-line spectrums.

We are seeking  a proven leader who has a passion for science and can demonstrate experience and impact in interactive, informal learning environments, which may include children’s museums, science centers, and/or other innovative, free-choice learning centers. Minimum of five (5) years of leadership and management experience in an organization in the education and/or not-for-profit sector.
