This 16 hour per week position provides key support for the Gardner Museum’s Public Programs Department, with an emphasis on Thursday evening programming, including Third Thursdays, lectures, concerts, and artist events. Both organized and creative, the assistant is a key player in the planning and implementation of Third Thursdays. The schedule is somewhat flexible, and will require planning time during regular working hours (9 am – 5 pm) in addition to most Thursday evenings and the occasional weekend day.
