Part-time opening (20 hours/week) for an Education Programming Assistant to assist in the preparation and delivery of education programming for the Knights! exhibition and related collections.  The Assistant will help to prepare for and present activities, guide interactive experiences in the galleries, and staff drop-in programs.  Additional responsibilities focus on supporting program development and identifying potential new audiences for the museum.

Qualifications:

The position requires the ability to work a flexible schedule including weekend hours as needed.  A background in studio art, art education or visitor relations and a focus on excellent customer-service are strongly preferred.  Also helpful are knowledge of arms and armor and a familiarity with interactive technologies.  Required skills include public speaking and presentation skills, strong organizational skills, and knowledge of Microsoft Office, some coursework in art education or comparable work experience and customer service and/or education experience.
