During the fall, the focus turns to school programming and responsibilities include: conducting school partnership tours; planning artist residencies; and developing Art Assembly performances teacher guides. During the spring, the intern continues conducting tours while also focusing on Kidspace museum curation including: assisting with floor plans; arranging meetings with artists; and developing exhibition text and teacher guide materials. The intern plays an integral role in the department working as part of a team in planning programs, and serves as the right hand of the Director of Education + Kidspace, assisting her with everything from grant writing to exhibition planning.
