Historic New England is actively seeking a full-time Membership
Coordinator to compliment its nine-member development team. Reporting to
the Vice President for Advancement, this individual serves as the
primary support person for all membership programs and plays an active
role in revenue generation. The Membership Coordinator will oversee and
support gift acknowledgments, membership fulfillment, recruitment and
retention activities, and works to ensure the maximum accuracy of the
Raiser’s Edge database. The Membership Coordinator is our front-line,
customer service resource for members, prospective members, and other
Historic New England staff, and will have the opportunity to represent
Historic New England at public programs/events that serve as membership
recruitment opportunities.

Qualifications: Ideal candidate will be proficient in Raiser’s Edge or
comparable database software, have an Associate’s degree or higher, two
years of job-related experience, and possess exemplary customer service
skills. Advanced knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, and e-mail
management are essential. A valid driver’s license is required.

Note: This position will be based at Historic New England’s Haverhill,
Massachusetts office located at 151 Essex Street—across from the
commuter rail stop. Basic orientation and position training will be
conducted at Otis House in Boston.
