The Curator and Arts Coordinator will oversee the arts program at the Women’s Studies Research Center, which houses the only feminist gallery in New England, including developing exhibitions for the Kniznick Gallery, creating educational programs to enhance exhibitions, and managing the WSRC’s permanent art collection. The Curator and Arts Coordinator will develop and execute exhibitions and programs that engage the entire Brandeis community and the public.

Qualifications: This position requires creative thinking and an ability to form productive relationships with a wide range of constituencies, including staff, scholars, volunteers, students, board members, and donors. Two years of curatorial or exhibition design experience is required, as well as solid program design or event planning experience. Must demonstrate strong communication, research, writing, presentation and project management skills. Marketing and public relations experience is a plus. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools is necessary. Graphic design experience is desirable. |
