D24 Clothing Drive

The D24 Community Service reps are hosting a spring clothing donation drive March 21-April 1!

This spring cleaning season, consider donating any unwanted clothing to local organizations. There will be two options to donate.

  1. Drop-off clothing on the 7th floor in the student lounge. Donated clothes will go to homeless youth shelter, Y2Y Harvard Square, in Cambridge.

About Y2Y: “Co-founders, Sam Greenberg and Sarah Rosenkrantz, opened Y2Y Harvard Square in December 2015, because we believe that all young people should have a safe place to sleep and the resources they need to succeed. Over the course of several years, [they] learned that young adults needed a youth-driven space because they didn’t feel safe staying in adult shelters. Given that there were only 12 beds specifically for young adults in Greater Boston, it was critical to work to meet this need.” Learn more about Y2Y’s impact click here.

2. Send clothing through GiveBack Box at the comfort of your own home. Steps on how to send your donations for free is included here. https://www.givebackbox.com/ae/?navdetail=footer:c2:p7
