Chinatown Backyard is officially relocating! Please fill out this form to help create a community garden for Chinatown.
To ensure the safety of our community members, all volunteers are required to be current on their COVID-19 vaccines or email anchor.projects@asiancdc.org with proof of negative covid test within 24 hours.
WHEN:
– Monday 8/8: shift #1 (12-2pm), shift #2 (2-4pm)
– Tuesday 8/9: shift #1 (12-2pm), shift #2 (2-4pm)
WHERE: Two locations
– 8 Hudson St, Boston, MA 02111 (near the Chinatown Gate)
– 186 Harrison Avenue, Boston, MA 02111 (Tufts Community Common, green space next to Posner Hall)
Volunteers can sign up for 1-4 shifts and will be placed at one of two locations.
Volunteer Responsibilities
- Building or assembling garden beds
- Prepping the garden site by cleaning & sweeping debris, trash removal
- Loading/unloading soil & supplies, shoveling
