D24 Students Volunteer at Non-Profit Food and Nutrition Program

Last month, students of the D24 class came together to volunteer at Community Servings, a non-profit food and nutrition program. While there, we participated in packaging scratch-made, medically tailored meals to individuals and families experiencing critical/chronic illness and nutrition insecurity. The kitchen makes and delivers hundreds of meal every session and, as we learned in school, good nutrition is an essential part of our health and well-being. Taking part in helping these individuals access a custom source of nutrition was very rewarding, and we had a great experience working together as a team!

Thank you, Andrea Alespeiti, Raquel Alespeiti, Jackie Flynn, Leah Mapp, Mikaelle Williams, Crystal Smith, Tayseer Hamied, Brianna Hairston, Kirsten Guerette, Amy Wang, Samara Aoun and Hae Min Song (D24 Community Service Class Reps) who came and participated in giving back during this event!
