Please join the Fares Center for a talk and Q&A on Mass Starvation and Repercussions of the ICJ’s Provisional Measures Order on Gaza with Professor Alex de Waal, Executive Director of the World Peace Foundation. Tom Dannenbaum, Associate Professor of International Law, will be the discussant.
Professors de Waal and Dannenbaum will provide an overview of the use of mass starvation as a war strategy. The talk will include observations from Gaza, Ethiopia, The Sudan, Yemen and Syria.
