We strongly prefer someone who can commit for the whole year. This position will be paid at the rate of $18/hour. This role can be combined with one of the other positions we are advertising.

This position allows for creative freedom. Previous experience with WordPress is a plus. Native English speakers will be given preference. Some additional tasks might be requested during the academic year, but always in relation to the aforementioned responsibilities. The weekly number of hours can be negotiated and many of the tasks can be performed remotely, but the position also entails some in-person work. We strongly prefer someone who can commit for the whole year or more. This position will be paid at the rate of $20/hour.

  • Cultural event coordinator

We are looking for a student to assist us with organizing one cultural event per month at the Fares Center. These can be film screenings, food or cooking workshops, dance, music, singing, poetry, literature, spoken work, language exchange, or other kinds of cultural activities. They can be run by the Fares Center or done jointly with other student clubs or university centers/departments. Some additional tasks might be requested during the academic year, but always in relation to the aforementioned responsibilities. We do not expect this position to take more than 2-3 hours per week on average. Hours are flexible but we expect the student to work some of the hours in-person at the Center.  We strongly prefer someone who can commit for the whole year. This position will be paid at the rate of $18/hour.  This role can be combined with one of the other positions we are advertising.
