Thomas Kyrimis receives 2024-25 John L. Robinson Educational Fund Fellowship

The Fares Center is pleased to announce Thomas Kyrimis, MIB:QM ’25, as the recipient of the John L. Robinson Educational Fund Fellowship for the 2024–25 academic year.

Thomas Kyrimis is a Greek-French student with a strong interest in international finance and the Arab world. After spending time in the Middle East, he began his career in commercial diplomacy in Iran and later joined Qatar National Bank, where he supported trade finance and corporate banking transactions between Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. The fellowship has allowed him to focus on comparing U.S. and French business and commercial diplomacy strategies in the Gulf, deepening his understanding of how finance, policy, and diplomacy intersect in shaping strategic relationships. Thomas aspires to leverage his expertise in international finance to strengthen business ties between Western economies and Arab countries.

The John L. Robinson Educational Fund Fellowship provides a full-tuition scholarship to second-year MALD and MIB students interested in US-Arab World commercial and business diplomacy. Both U.S. and International students are eligible to apply.
