Description:
- Volunteer to staff the Museum lobby and exhibit floors in 2 hour shifts
- Engage visitors and learn their visit needs and expectations
- Recommend and be well-versed in specific exhibits, programs, and daily activities
- Match the needs of visitors with Museum offerings
- Re-occurring consecutive volunteer shifts, for 2 or 3 shifts a month for a minimum of 6 consecutive months
HOURS:
- Monday through Thursday – 2 hour shifts between the hours of 10:00 – 3:00pm
- Friday – 2 hour shifts between the hours of 10:00 – 9:00pm
- Saturday and Sunday – 2 hour shifts between the hours of 9:00 – 3:00pm
- Ability to work special events and school vacation weeks a plus
Qualifications:

- College degree
- 3-5 years of work experience
- Previous customer service experience needed
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to interact positively with children and adults
- Ability to work with diverse visitors and staff
- Fluency in multiple languages a plus
