The Annual Giving Coordinator will serve as one of the point people for the Annual Fund’s Explorers Society, coordinate appeals to acquire new Annual Fund donors as well as appeals for patron level gifts of $300-$2,499 (Explorers) and $2,500+ (Discoverers), and conduct cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship activities with Annual Fund donors and prospects.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Helps coordinate donor renewals/upgrades for 900-1,000 Annual Fund donors yearly
- Helps coordinate acquisition efforts for an additional 1,000+ Annual Fund donors
- Portfolio of 250-300 active donors and prospects raising between $50,000 and $80,000
- Coordinate efforts to bring in $270,000 in Explorer renewals, $50,000 in new Explorer revenue and $20,000 in reactivating lapsed Explorers yearly.
WORK SCHEDULE:
This position is full-time, 40 hours a week, Monday – Friday. Occasional evenings and weekends required.

Non-Exempt (Hourly). Commensurate with experience.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Two (2) or more years of fundraising and/or multiple types of fundraising programs experience.
- Bachelor of Science or Arts degree preferred.
- Customer service experience and a proven record of strong verbal communication skills.
- Possess strong writing skills and prior experience working with computer programs including word processing, spreadsheet and database applications.
- Proven ability to analyze and comprehend complex reports and speak to them knowledgably.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple tasks simultaneously, paying close attention to detail.
- Prior knowledge of fundraising and previous fundraising experience
- Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends. Regular schedule 40 hours per week, M-F
