Finance Summer Intern

Project Description

The main focus of the Finance Intern for summer 2015 will be to develop a set of relevant museum metrics against which the Norton can measure its own performance.  A variety of data will be available from different sources; the intern will examine and analyze this data to determine the appropriateness of its application to similar data for the Norton.  The intern will also need to contact other institutions to ask questions and clarify information.

The Norton sponsors another summer internship program which is more oriented towards the arts. The Finance Intern may also participate in some of the general aspects of this program, such as field trips and conversations with curators, if desired and if the project work is on target.

The project requires a high degree of analytical ability, as well as good communication and computer skills.
