Duties include (but are not limited to): manage information gathering; research and develop exhibit content; write outlines and scripts; manage ancillary material gathering, availability and readiness (photos, graphics, maps, illustrations) to enhance storyline; manage information and ancillary material gathering for content development of exhibit features (e.g., flat graphics, interactives, audio-visuals, computer activities, models, murals, illustrations, digital graphics, mobile media).
Best candidates should have skills in content research, image sourcing, zoo/museum exhibition or educational writing, and audience advocacy. Candidate should be adept at working with a diverse planning team that may include curators, scientists, educators, and animal care staff within the framework of a larger exhibit development team.
