The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation seeks nominations and applications for the position of Grant Management Associate. The Grant Management Associate will report directly to the Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of the Foundation, and will provide support in a fast-paced office that will include extensive fact-checking and proof-reading, editing grant correspondence and write-ups, reviewing and monitoring grant files and grant documentation, including grant budgets, proposals, and reports, to ensure compliance with IRS and Foundation requirements, word-processing, preparing and assembling board materials, researching and writing reports, answering calls, and serving as a principal liaison with the 75-person Foundation staff.
The candidate needs to be a high-energy, “can do” person who: has an extraordinary attention to detail; can juggle multiple administrative tasks; has excellent writing, editing, analytic, organizational, and interpersonal skills; can work with numbers and spreadsheets and is technologically savvy; and who can appreciate the importance of a collegial work environment. A Bachelor’s degree is required.
