Job Description:

Jean Efron Art Consultants LLC, a Washington, DC based art advisory firm, is seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated and organized individual interested in the opportunity for growth to coordinate all aspects of the firm’s work providing comprehensive fine art services to corporate clients. Qualified candidates will have extensive knowledge of contemporary art, artists and art galleries; exceptional organizational and time management skills, including the ability to manage an office with multiple projects, schedules and tasks; meet deadlines in an environment with rapidly evolving priorities; attention to detail; demonstrated business skills; and outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities include:

• Planning and execution of all client projects and schedules
• Developing the client art program including art selection, procurement, installation, collections management, client billing and administrative close-out of projects
• Development of all collateral materials and visuals for client projects
• Coordinate client accounting processes with the bookkeeper
• Supervise project teams as necessary

Requirements

Requirements:

• Degree in Art History or related field; emphasis on contemporary art
• 3 – 5 years work experience in an art gallery or for profit organization
• Proven Project Management Skills
• People skills
• Business skills including client development
• Excellent communication and writing skills
• Advanced computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, Access, PowerPoint, Photoshop, Excel, and database programs

Desirable skills:

• Marketing and sales skills
• Knowledge of social media
• Experience with public art
• Experience with design software
