Description
The Charles M. Schulz Museum, a not-for-profit museum in Santa Rosa, CA seeks a multi-talented Curator. Our 27,000 square feet facility showcases the comic art and legacy of Charles M. Schulz and the Peanuts comic strip collection. The Curator is responsible for planning the exhibition schedule and researching and writing exhibition text for the Museums three temporary exhibition galleries, traveling exhibitions and the satellite Museum in Tokyo. The Curator will supervise the in-house Exhibits Designer/Manager, Traveling Exhibits Manager, Collections Manager, Archivist and their staff. We are searching for a creative, high-energy candidate with hands-on curatorial and supervisory experience and excellent communication skills. Postgraduate degree in Museum Studies or related field, four+ years of museum curatorial experience and supervision of staff required. North Hollywood.
