Mt. Kearsarge Indian Museum, Education and Cultural Center presents historical and ongoing American Indian cultural expression through exhibitions and programs for all ages, including an annual Intertribal Powwow. The Executive Director will have overall strategic and operational responsibility for MKIM’s staff, collection, campus, programs, expansion, and execution of its mission. The ED will initially develop deep knowledge of field, core programs, operations, and business plans. The position is year-round, hired by and directly accountable to the Board of Directors through its elected Chair. Bachelor’s degree in museum studies, education, history, or non-profit management desired. Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a small to mid-sized museum organization.
