The incumbent of this position serves as a Project Coordinator in the National Operations Division, Office of Marketing, to manage the Museum’s event management platform. This position will be responsible for creating calendar listings, event pages and event registration data for each event. This position will also be responsible for customer service, answering event-related questions from the public, and assisting on some digital projects.
Duties:
Managing the event management platform (Certain), including event registration, internal and external calendar listings, and coordination with e-community, social media and other digital assets and IT
Creating, maintaining and revising the business processes for online event management, including project management, maintaining event listing content and accuracy, creating registration pages, timely listings, data transfers to CRM, registration app., development systems, as well as running and distributing reports to Museum staff
Providing customer support for Museum audiences interested in attending events, including answering questions, providing additional information and connecting with the appropriate Museum departments
Coordinating event information within Marketing Office, working closely with program offices and development staff, training key Museum staff on the system, providing assistance, and coordinating resolution of problems with Museum IT and Certain staff
