Danforth Art is accepting applications for spring and summer Museum Education Interns. Museum Education Interns assist with all aspects of museum education activities at Danforth Art, including the planning, implementation, and evaluation of interpretive programs for children, teens, students, families, and adults.
Qualifications:
Open to qualified college or graduate students, or recent graduates. Museum Education/Museum Studies/Education/Art Education/Art History/or Studio Art students preferred. Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point are preferred. Ideal candidate will be available to commit to a minimum of two days per week. The typical internship lasts three to four months. The Museum Education Internship is an unpaid, volunteer position but may qualify for a school’s internship hour requirements.
