Assistant, Associate or Full Professor of Educational Sustainability, University of Wisconsin (Stevens Point, WI)

The successful applicant for this position will assist the School of Education in implementing a planned Ed.D. degree in Educational Sustainability. Candidates will also be expected to teach graduate courses in Educational Sustainability, co-lead the development of coursework for the doctoral degree in Educational Sustainability, and teach undergraduate courses as needed. Candidates will also support all aspects of the Ed.D. including recruitment, student support, advising and mentoring, and service on dissertation committees; and provide leadership in the area of sustainability.

Project Coordinator, Capital Planning and Facilities, Indiana University (Bloomington)

Manages the Sustainability Internship Program by tracking intern accountability, maintaining program documentation, coordinating events, and developing an alumni network. Acts as liaison for Campus Sustainability Advisory Board by planning meetings and compiling documentation; assists with scheduling and coordination between regional IU campuses on their sustainability initiatives; and works on program specific tasks as directed by management.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: planning and coordinating logistics, researching and evaluating provided services, coordinating on-site event execution, participating in budget development and reporting, processing invoices and reimbursements, and serving as a resource for event participants. Maintains event timelines and other documentation to ensure planning efficiency; designs, develops, and implements office publications; drafts press releases, letters, emails and other communications support; takes pictures, reviews proofs, and checks final product; and maintains office publication timelines and other documentation.

Transportation Demand Management Coordinator, Rice University (Houston, TX)

This position assists and is supervised by the Director of Administrative Services. Its role includes research, analysis, planning, development, implementation, administration and continuous improvement of Alternative Transportation programs and services at Rice University. This position also assists the Director of Administrative Services in overseeing the day-to-day operation of alternative transportation services such as car-share, campus shuttle service, emergency ride home program, car-pooling, van-pooling and bicycle programs.

Alternative Transportation Programs support the University’s high quality learning environment. The goals of the programs include reducing the number of employees and students driving alone to campus, reducing traffic congestion, and improving the quality of the campus environment. To achieve these goals the Director of Administrative Services, with assistance from the Transportation Department Management (TDM) Coordinator, Parking Manager and Transportation Manager identifies long-term planning strategies, develops and implements fiscal incentives, and promotes commuting alternatives to driving alone to campus. This position is a key member of the Parking and Transportation team within Rice University.
