Lead Communications Worker, Office of Sustainability (Medford/Somerville)

The Tufts Office of Sustainability is seeking a graduate student to assist with communications during the 2018-19 academic year. The Lead Communications Interns would be responsible for maintaining high standards for our office’s outgoing communications and managing all planning and coordination activities for the Office of Sustainability’s social media communications, publications and newsletters.

They would oversee, and work in coordination with, several undergraduate interns creating outreach materials and posters, writing blog posts, social media programming, and performing website and blog maintenance.

This is a paid position.

Recycling Communications Intern, Office of Sustainability (Medford/Somerville)

The Tufts Office of Sustainability is seeking an undergraduate student intern to help update the http://operations.tufts.edu/recycle/ website, create educational materials for waste reduction programs at Tufts, monitor the recycling & sustainability inboxes, and update various communications channels including the Sustainability at Tufts website, blog, email newsletter, and social media. The intern may assist with other marketing and communications tasks as needed.

This is a paid position.

Specialty Recycling Interns, Office of Sustainability (Medford/Somerville)

The Tufts Office of Sustainability is looking for an undergraduate student to manage specialty recycling collection infrastructure, processing, and drop-off of specialty recycling items. These items include small electronics, textiles, shoes, tennis balls, etc. This position requires the Specialty Recycling Intern to be active and willing to walk around campus to collect materials and ensure that our waste streams are working efficiently.

This is a paid position.
