The Internship and Project Specialist will manage the student Sustainability Internship program, develop marketing and communication materials for the Office of Sustainability, organize and oversee multiple community-facing events, and develop and implement new student programs. Hire and lead a team of 10+ interns and provide guidance and mentorship on intern primary and secondary projects. Develop and lead intern committees as needed to facilitate the completion of large projects. In collaboration with and with oversight from the Program Manager, develop new graphics, videos, and media to display on the website. Develop posters, brochures, and other marketing materials to use as resources for programs. Create videos and other media to help educate the Brown community on waste management, sustainable transportation options, and other programs. Manage the office’s large community events and programs including the Sustainability Tour, Green Move-in, Orientation, Earth Week, Compost Education Program, and Clean Break.
