The Allston Brighton CDC’s graduate student intern will be responsible for the design and implementation of two critical products and expected to assist with pre-development activities. 10 hours/week, $20/hour.
- Develop a user-friendly financial model to evaluate the financial feasibility of various real estate opportunities, utilizing public and private funding;
- Design and implement a real estate database that will provide the CDC with a better understanding of proposed, and pending, development projects;
- Assist the Real Estate Development Manager with an array of pre-development activities; and
- Create presentation materials that can help illustrate the viability of these real estate prospects.
ITDP is seeking an Intern to work remotely with our Boston team on a variety of projects related to work on the program’s BRT initiatives in the Boston area. The Intern will report to the Boston Program Manager and work closely with all members of the U.S. program team. The Metropolitan Area Planning Council’s (MAPC) Data Services Department seeks a Research Intern to support a project dedicated to understanding the assumptions land use and transportation models across the country make about future spatial distributions of population by race and ethnicity. This project will examine the impact these assumptions have on different equity analyses used to allocate transportation funding. The intern will gain first-hand experience in synthesizing work done by topical experts and contribute valuable research to advance racial equity goals across the region.
