The Department of Civil, Environmental, and Sustainable Engineering at Santa Clara University (SCU), a Jesuit Catholic University located in the heart of California’s Silicon Valley, seeks a structural engineering tenure-track faculty member at the assistant professor level to begin in Fall 2021. Within the field of Structural Engineering, the position requires someone with expertise in structural modeling of conventional and innovative materials, and earthquake engineering. SCU and the Civil, Environmental, and Sustainable Engineering Department are committed to social justice, equality, diversity, and inclusion of all people. We seek candidates whose research, teaching, and service aspirations align with our commitment to these ideals; whose professional or life experiences will enrich the department, School, University, and society; and who will serve as a strong role model and advocate for a diverse student population.
