MASSPIRG is an organization that trains students to run strategic campaigns to protect the environment, make college more affordable, and promote civic engagement. Through our remote internship program students can learn valuable organizing and activist skills to make a difference on issues that they care about.

applications for the position of Core Fellow/ Visiting Assistant Professor
in Environmental Studies. The appointment for this one-year postdoctoral visiting assistant professorship will be for the 2021-2022 academic year. Salary is competitive, and the poison is renewable upon favorable review for up to three years. Boston College is a Jesuit, Catholic university that strives to integrate research excellence with a foundational commitment to formative liberal arts education. Boston College requires all students to complete a liberal arts Core Curriculum with 15 requirements as the foundation of their undergraduate education. Core Fellows teach signature courses in the Core. Developed for first-year students, interdisciplinary Complex Problem and Enduring Question courses are part of an ongoing renewal
of the Core Curriculum. As a Core Fellow, the position includes participation in the Core Fellows Program, a program designed to help new doctorates with their scholarly pursuits as well as become outstanding instructors through pedagogical training focused on education of the whole person. The Policy Associate coordinates and implements internal initiatives such as organizational knowledge management, internal procedures, internal networks and project coordination. They will also support the Nature Conservancy’s conservation goals by serving as a liaison and informational contact between the organization and outside agencies or companies. The Policy Associate also provides administrative support, research, organizing and general office support to managers and the North America Policy & Government Relations team of The Nature Conservancy’s External Affairs department.
