NMFS-Sea Grant Joint Fellowship, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Aministration (NOAA)

The NMFS-Sea Grant Joint Fellowship Program in Population and Ecosystem Dynamics and Marine Resource Economics is designed to help Sea Grant fulfill its broad educational responsibilities and to strengthen the collaboration between Sea Grant and the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS). Since 1990, Sea Grant and NMFS have partnered to train students through this joint fellowship program in two specialized areas: population and ecosystem dynamics as well as marine resource economics. Population and ecosystem dynamics involve the study of fish populations and marine ecosystems to better assess fishery stock conditions and dynamics.

Environmental Policy Internship, Save the Harbor/Save the Bay (Remote)

Save the Harbor/Save the Bay is seeking an Environmental Policy Intern to assist in the advancement of our mission. This position is for a high energy and self-motivated individual with an interest in political science and environmental policy. Under the direction of the Executive Director and the Director of Strategy & Communications, the Environmental Policy Intern will be working on a variety of projects focused on environmental sustainability, water quality, and public access to Boston Harbor and the waterfront.

Urban Leaders Fellowship, Urban Leaders (Various locations)

The Urban Leaders Fellowship is a paid summer fellowship for early to mid-career professionals who are already leaders in their own right and are looking to accelerate their leadership through a seven-week fellowship with a focus on policy and practice. Fellows spend half of their time working on a critical policy project with a partner elected official, helping to enact a vision for improving their cities and the other half of their time working with an innovative partner organization. 

Eligibility:

  • You don’t need specific background in legislative policy to apply, just a passion to learn about policy
  • 2 years of professional experience
