Carbon Markets Intern, Center for Clean Air Policy (Washington, D.C./Remote)

The Center for Clean Air Policy (CCAP) has an opening for a graduate-level, policy intern based in Washington, D.C. The position will support CCAP’s carbon markets policy work. The intern will provide research, analysis, report-writing and conference-preparation support for CCAP’s projects focused on climate change mitigation policies. The intern will have the opportunity to contribute to research and analysis in support of national policy recommendations and international thought leadership in one or more of the following areas. This is a paid part-time position (16-24 hours per week).

Climate Finance Intern, Center for Clean Air Policy (Washington D.C./Remote)

The Center for Clean Air Policy (CCAP) has an opening for a graduate-level, policy intern based in Washington, D.C., or remote. The position will support CCAP’s climate finance policy work. The intern will provide research, analysis, report-writing and conference-preparation support for CCAP’s projects related to climate finance, including capacity building in developing countries. The intern will have the opportunity to contribute to research and analysis on NDC investment strategies, mobilization of private climate finance, and the role of public and private institutions in financing transformational climate projects and programs. This is a paid part-time position.

TIE-SEI Internships, Tufts Institute of the Environment + Stockholm Environment Institute (Somerville, MA/Remote)

Applications are currently being accepted for this paid internship with the Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI) and Tufts Institute of the Environment (TIE). SEI is an international non-profit research and policy organization that tackles environment and development challenges. This unique opportunity allows Tufts students to work on a designated SEI research project as well as network with colleagues and leaders in the field through TIE activities. Interns will work on the USAID Regional Water and Vulnerable Environment Activity.

Community Economic Development Planning Intern/Part-time, FinePoint Associates (Boston/Remote)

We are seeking a candidate to assist with exciting economic recovery planning efforts, including:
1) a regional plan focusing on a bikeway asset to support small business development in neighboring commercial districts
2) a plan for a traditional downtown in a low-moderate income city to assist businesses post COVID.
Duties will include best practices research, data collection, and assistance with community engagement, writing, and project plans.

UEPodcast Co-Producer, Tufts UEP (Remote)

Do you have an interest in podcasting and a desire to practice the skill? Join the UEP communications team to help out with our latest endeavor—the UEPodcast! Launched in February, the UEPodcast serves as an extension of the Practical Visionaries blog. The goal is promote collaboration and co-creation across UEP’s networks, with participation from students, faculty members and alumni! Your role would involve supporting the release of two episodes per month. Responsibilities include:

  • Soliciting episodes and episode ideas from the UEP community
  • Producing some episodes yourself
  • Supporting community members in making their own episodes
  • Managing the release of episodes and blog posts to the Practical Visionaries blog
  • Collaborating with the rest of the communications team to ensure cohesion across all of UEP’s communications efforts.
