Food Rescue Coordinator, Food For Free (Cambridge, MA)

Food For Free is a non-profit organization that improves access to healthy food within the Greater Boston community by rescuing food that would otherwise go to waste, strengthening the community food system, and creating new distribution channels to reach underserved populations. Their work relies heavily on collaboration with partners throughout the community.

They are seeking a flexible, dependable person who is eager to take on new challenges and is dedicated to providing excellent service to the people and organizations they support. The food rescue driver will be responsible for the pickup of food donations and delivery to our recipient agencies as well as home delivery to individuals. The driver is also responsible for maintaining a good working relationship with our food donors, recipient agencies, home delivery clients, and members of the community.

This is a full-time position.

Food Systems Policy Internship (Portland, ME)

FOOD SYSTEMS POLICY INTERNSHIP – CITY OF PORTLAND

Portland, ME

As part of these efforts, the City of Portland’s Planning and Urban Development Department seeks a Policy Intern to work with the Mayor’s Initiative for Healthy Sustainable Food Systems on food-system policy for the City. Duties include identifying and cataloguing the City of Portland’s ordinances and policies that influence or affect agriculture, food, and food systems.  $15-20 based on experience.
