Description:

Boston Art is seeking a full-time, entry-level Gallery and Project Administrator with prior office experience to join our fun and hard working team. He or she will report primarily to the Director of Art Administration and Business Development.

Responsibilities:

– Assisting with Gallery Operations: artist research, communication and studio visits; gallery inventory and organization

– Assisting with Client Projects: creating digital floor plans, renderings and presentations (Photoshop, InDesign, Powerpoint, Excel)

– Assisting with Marketing Initiatives: social media site updates, research, analysis

Additional responsibilities will include:

– Answering the phones, managing incoming and outgoing shipments & filing

– Updating client database

– Supporting President’s requests

Qualifications:

– Prior administrative or project management experience

– Excellent written and verbal communication skills

– Excellent academic record (BA required)

– Knowledge of graphic design, database management, Excel and Adobe Photoshop a strong plus

– Drivers license required
