The John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum seeks a creative and experienced professional to develop and implement educational programs for the Library’s varied audiences. He/she will develop strategies for expanding participation and strengthening the impact of outreach efforts to youth and diverse community audiences. The Coordinator directs Celebrate!, a performing arts series for families; the Presidents’ Day Family Festival, and the Student Leadership Conference. She/he collaborates on outreach initiatives to educators. Full-time Kennedy Library Foundation position; salary competitive with excellent benefits. Qualifications:
Requires excellent communication skills; experience working with varied audiences and community outreach programs; knowledge of current educational practices including program evaluation; ability to think outside of the box to create successful programs; ability to work in a team environment; and the ability to represent the Library and Museum to the general public. Qualifications: degree in history, education, or a related field, M.A. preferred; four years museum education experience preferred.
