The Newport Restoration Foundation a non-profit institution, was formed with the express purpose of preserving, interpreting, and maintaining landscape and objects reflecting Aquidneck Island’s 18th- and 19th- century architectural culture. The Foundation seeks a Marketing Coordinator to market and promote the following; annual exhibition, public programming and educational events, NRF properties and other NRF associated activities, with a strong emphasis on the use of electronic and social media. The Coordinator will develop and implement marketing plans for the organization as a whole. Manages social media marketing program and coordinates website updates. Works within the curatorial and education departments to fulfill their marketing needs. Coordinates all NRF collateral and news releases, and distribution of these materials. Manages media, customer and partner databases. Develops and maintains community and hospitality relationships. Qualifications: Minimum of a B.A., with a concentration in marketing, public relations, or communications or a related field. Must be familiar and comfortable with the use of electronic and social media. At least three years of professional marketing experience. Basic understanding of graphic design principles and some experience with graphics software highly desirable. Requires excellent verbal and written skills. Must be capable of meeting deadlines. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Must possess a valid driver’s license.
