Visitor Services Manager

Description:
Heritage seeks a full time Visitor Services Manager to oversee retail and front desk operations. Position includes developing merchandise mix consistent with museum mission, developing new products based on museum collections, hiring, training and supervising staff, reporting, inventory, meeting financial goals, assuring a pleasant and efficient ticketing and group registration experience. Bachelor’s or equiv., 3-4 yrs exp. at high volume location, attention to detail, superb math and communication skills, training, coaching exp.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent. Demonstrated 3-4 years retail experience, operations experience or equivalent at high volume location. Attention to detail, superb math and communications skills required, understanding of group sales and museum retail environment, understanding of product development, patience and effectiveness as a coach and trainer required.
