Description
The Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Indian (NMAI) seeks an Assistant Project Manager (Exhibits) at the NMAI’s museum on the National Mall in Washington, DC. The Assistant Project Manager (Exhibits) supports a number of the museum’s smaller projects and programs, and provides administrative support to the museum’s senior Project Managers in the management and oversight of the museum’s medium and large-size projects, including the development of the NMAI’s major public exhibitions. The position also assists with the development and maintenance of the museum’s project schedules, prepares procurement requests, drafts scopes of work for contracts, and provides additional administrative support, as needed.
