The MIT Museum seeks 3-4 temporary part-time educators to teach Museum-developed, on-site education programs in science, technology, and engineering workshops for visiting middle and high school students from September 2016 to June 2017, with an opportunity for extension. Successful candidates will have a science or engineering background, experience working with students in formal and/or informal education settings and an enthusiasm for learning about MIT Museum collections and current research at MIT. The ideal candidate will have a flexible schedule and should be available 1-2 days a week, for three-hour shifts between 9:30am and 4:00pm.

Anticipated commitment is 6-12 hours/month with the possibility of additional hours and extended employment. Compensation of $15-$18/hour, based on experience. Training will be provided.
