New EcoWomen association seeks board members

A Cambridge resident is hoping to launch a Boston version of DC EcoWomen , a community of women interested in environmental and professional issues that has been an incredibly popular platform for networking, resource exchange and fun with like minded people.

At this time, coordinator Avipsa seeks a team of awesome women to lead this effort. Once EcoWomen board approves the Boston chapter, the group will be increasing publicity for membership.

The positions which remain open include:

1. Secretary

2. VP Membership

3. VP Communications

As the organization is just starting, these voluntary positions are not anticipated to not take a lot of time.

Please send questions — or, if you’d like to apply, a short bio and complete contact information — to Avipsa at avipsam@gmail.com.

Deadline: Sunday, July 24th
