Job Summary: The successful Executive Deputy Director (EDD) candidate will work alongside the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to execute the company vision and provide leadership to scale the organization’s capacity and reinforce its culture to ensure Greentown Labs’ long-term success. The EDD will oversee the organization’s ongoing diverse business operations including fundraising and set comprehensive goals for performance and growth to ensure organizational goals are met and team members grow and thrive. Excellent people management and collaboration skills are an absolute must to create and maintain positive working relationships with Greentown team members at all levels, corporate partners, member companies and other stakeholders. The role also requires strong communication skills and has the responsibility of being called upon to positively represent the organization and communicate its vision on behalf of the CEO. Our ideal candidate is mission-driven and has experience and a network within the cleantech/clean energy/sustainability industry, and a drive to address the biggest challenge of our time: climate change. This position will serve as second-in-command to the CEO and will be a member of the senior leadership team at Greentown Labs.

The Department of Energy Resources (DOER) is responsible for implementing the state’s Renewable and Alternative Energy Portfolio Standard (RPS and APS) programs, which includes the RPS Solar Carve-Out (SREC) programs and the Solar Massachusetts Renewable Target (SMART) Program.  DOER is looking to hire a Renewable Energy Program Coordinator to assist in the implementation of these programs. The Renewable Energy Program Coordinator’s contributions will primarily support the Commonwealth’s solar incentive programs, in particular the SREC and SMART Programs. The Renewable Energy Program Coordinator will be responsible for program data management, application review and processing, and communications with applicants and stakeholders. The Renewable Energy Program Coordinator will also support renewable energy programs and policy more generally as needed.
