Assistant Director of Sustainability, University of Massachusetts Lowell (Lowell MA)

Reporting to and under the guidance of the Director of Sustainability, the Assistant Director of Sustainability supports the University’s commitment to sustainability initiatives and programs that reduce environmental impacts, improve efficiency of the University’s operations, increase environmental awareness, and engage students in experiential learning opportunities.

This position will manage and coordinate the sustainability programs at the university, in the greater Lowell community and with a wide-variety of state partner organizations including but not limited to MassDEP, MassDOER, and MassDOT. Leveraging these relationships and successfully receiving and executing sustainability related grants are essential requirements for this position.

Clean Energy Internship Program Spring 2020, Massachusetts Clean Energy Center (MA)

Since its inception in 2011, the Massachusetts Clean Energy Internship Program has placed thousands of students and recent graduates at clean energy companies across the Commonwealth, with hundreds of those interns going on to receive full or part-time job opportunities at their host companies.

The program helps provide Massachusetts clean energy businesses with a talented pool of young professionals, with MassCEC providing stipends for interns during fall, spring and summer sessions.

Spring 2020 Internship, US Green Building Council, Massachusetts Chapter (Boston, MA)

Do you want to help make every building in the world (at least in Mass.) a green building? Would you like to participate on the inside of the movement with us at the USGBC MA Chapter?

As an intern for USGBC MA, you will be doing a variety of tasks, from supporting day to day work, small research projects, and media design tasks. Internships with USGBC MA are fairly general, and projects are chosen based on interest. You will be able to put the final products in your portfolio to show others your skills and your expanding knowledge base related to the green building industry. We will also help you build connections across the state among green building professionals.

Product Lead, Ecochallenge Platform (Portland, OR)

The Product Lead (PL) will be responsible for the vision and development of the Ecochallenge Platform. As part of a small team, the PL will work with consulting developers, event and platform support personnel, and be responsible for the overall product roadmap sourcing insights from program and engagement leads. Additionally, in collaboration with the Executive Director and with support from the Digital Operations Manager, the PL will hold a lead role in the sales and project management for custom clients.
