EDF Climate Corps is cultivating the next generation of sustainability professionals united to advance climate solutions.

The first-of-its-kind fellowship program brings together an arsenal of top talent, resources and expertise in a variety of subject matters and industries to help organizations meet their sustainability and energy goals.

Since the program’s inception in 2008, nearly 1000 graduate students have been placed into more than 450 organizations spanning the U.S. and China to tackle energy-related challenges and opportunities, including setting ambitious climate targets and making global supply chains more sustainable. The result: over $1.6 billion in energy saving projects identified

Program Coordinator, Arizona State University (Tempe, AZ)

The Program Coordinator will join the fast-moving, high-achieving ASU University Sustainability Practices team in its role as internal sustainability consultants to the rest of the university. The successful candidate will coordinate activities, functions, and projects affiliated primarily with sustainability engagement and will fulfill a variety of administrative assistant tasks. “Engagement” is defined more broadly than events and tabling-type activities to include and emphasize engaging university programs, departments, (student and other) organization leaders, committees, faculty, staff and others to make them aware of university sustainability goals and programs, tools and policies to assist them in integrating those goals into their day-to-day operations and activities. This position is based out of the Tempe campus with potential weekly travel to the Downtown Phoenix campus and occasional travel to other campuses.

Spring 2020 Internship, US Green Building Council, Massachusetts Chapter, Boston (MA)

The US Green Building Council, Massachusetts Chapter is the pre-eminent organization driving sustainable and regenerative design, construction, and operation of the built environment. Our mission is for everyone to have green buildings to work, live, play, and study in, within a generation. This is a lot of work! Do you want to help make every building in the world (at least in Mass.) a green building? Would you like to participate on the inside of the movement with us at the USGBC MA Chapter? As an intern for USGBC MA, you will be doing a variety of tasks, from supporting day to day work, small research projects, and media design tasks. Internships with USGBC MA are fairly general, and projects are chosen based on interest. You will be able to put the final products in your portfolio to show others your skills and your expanding knowledge base related to the green building industry. We will also help you build connections across the state among green building professionals.

Conservation Finance Research Intern, Conservation Finance Program, The Trust for Public Land (Boston, MA or Seattle, WA)

The Trust for Public Land (TPL) is seeking a Conservation Finance Intern to primarily support several key knowledge resources including comprehensive databases of public land conservation activities, ballot measure election results, and project tracking. The person in this position may also conduct or assist in research, writing, and technical analysis for reports that evaluate the potential of state and local governments to design public funding programs for parks and land conservation.

The selected applicant will be involved with data collection, entry, management, and, as needed, qualitative research, analysis and report writing. Research will involve policy review, literature searches and interviews.
