Sustainability Fellowship, University of New Hampshire (Durham, NH)

UNH Sustainability Fellowships pair exceptional students from across the U.S. with Host partners in New England to work on transformative sustainability initiatives that lead to integrated solutions.

Sustainability Fellows, mentored by the UNH team and dedicated individuals from our partner organizations, undertake challenging site-specific summer projects,  achieve high-impact results, and receive a competitive stipend for their contributions. Since 2008, 162 students have participated in the Sustainability Fellowship program – they are now working in a variety of sectors across the U.S.

Seasonal Land Stewardship Technician, Essex County Greenbelt

Greenbelt seeks a full-time (40 hours per week), seasonal (May-August) Land Stewardship Technician to support all aspects of the land stewardship department across Essex County, MA. This position will report to Greenbelt’s director of land stewardship and work closely with the other land stewardship staff to accomplish the following:

  • Maintain Greenbelt owned properties, including trail work, boundary marking, signage, grass and field mowing, clean-up, community garden management and other work as directed
  • Assist with a variety of conservation biology initiatives focused on wildlife species like Osprey and Piping Plovers
  • Assist with invasive plant control initiatives
  • Assist with special event planning, set-up and management, occasionally on week nights and weekends
  • Work with volunteers
  • Perform other tasks as directed.

Environmental Advocacy Symposium, Pace University (New York, NY)

The Association for Environmental Studies and Sciences invites scholars, educators, practitioners, and students to submit proposals for the Environmental Advocacy Symposium, a one-day convening on the research and practice of environmental advocacy.  

The Environmental Advocacy Symposium will take place Wednesday, June 10, 2020, at Pace University, followed by the Association for Environmental Studies and Sciences Conference.
