Sustainability Operations Coordinator, Texas A&M University (College Station, TX)

The Sustainability Operations Coordinator is responsible for fostering a culture of sustainability at Texas A&M University. This position is responsible for management and coordination of the Aggie Green Fund, a student-led majority committee, which oversees and awards up to $225,000 for environmental grants each year. The position enhances sustainability public education and outreach initiatives through a variety of platforms including social media outlets, development and implementation of programs such as the Aggie Sustainability Alliance. Assists with the Office of Sustainability’s institutional assessment and reporting goals, work with high-level campus stakeholders to accomplish sustainability objectives, and identifies new programs for development that will increase the sustainability of practices such as recycling, energy and water use, transportation, food services, procurement, and social justice.

Climate Law Intern, Center for Biological Diversity (Oakland, CA)

The Center for Biological Diversity in Oakland, CA, is seeking a Climate Law Intern for Summer 2020. The intern will work with the senior campaigner to implement key components of the Center’s organizing and campaign work. Trainings will be provided throughout the internship to facilitate learning and skill development. The intern will work with the senior campaigner to create a dynamic work plan to help implement the organizing components of the Center’s priority climate campaigns. This work will include statewide and federal efforts to advance climate justice and keep fossil fuels in the ground.

Legal/Policy Intern Summer 2020, Center for Biological Diversity (Washington, D.C.)

The Center for Biological Diversity is looking for a Government Affairs legal/policy intern located in Washington, D.C., to work within the Center’s Government Affairs program. Legal/policy interns are likely to work on projects concerning endangered species, public lands and pollution issues, focusing primarily on congressional and state legislation and administrative regulatory proposals. Legal interns not seeking class credit may be eligible for compensation. This is not a litigation position. Legal interns not seeking class credit may be eligible for compensation.
