Equitable Transitions for Developing Countries, Tufts Institute of the Environment and Stockholm Environment Institute (Medford, MA)

This internship is a collaboration between the Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI) and Tufts Institute of the Environment and will take place during the 2020-21 academic school year.

SEI is an international, non-profit, research organization that works to shift environmental policy and practice towards sustainability.

This unique opportunity allows TIE-SEI Interns to:

• work with SEI on a designated research project

• participate in a series of TIE’s fellowship activities

• network with colleagues and leaders in the field

The successful candidate will support SEI’s Equitable Transitions program. Primary responsibilities are in a project that seeks to offer insights into how an equitable low-carbon transition in developing countries could unfold through an analysis of past transitions in developing countries and how they contrast to transitions in developed countries. The project is part of the 2050 Pathways Platform and is funded by the European Climate Foundation.
