Smith College’s Environmental Studies and Policy Program is currently searching for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Human Geography to start on July 1st, 2021. Responsibilities include teaching two courses per semester and additional honors and major advising.

The Sustainability Intern will participate in the life of the Sustainability Committee, a group of faculty, students, staff, and alumni who identify and search solutions for environmental issues at SMFA (with its relationship to other Tufts campuses and neighboring communities). The Intern will actively and creatively contribute to shaping solutions and posing questions.
The intern will work for about 150 hrs during the 2020-21 academic year (6 hrs a week for 25 weeks throughout the year at a rate of $12/hr. The intern will report to the Committee’s chair (Silvia Bottinelli) by submitting a summary of the work done each week.
The Associate will be a key member of the CSR team, developing and driving the processes to support corporate reporting, disclosure and communication on environmental, social and governance (ESG) topics. The Associate’s role will help strengthen strategic initiatives, processes and culture to champion and coordinate companywide commitments to CSR, thereby enhancing Thermo Fisher’s reporting capabilities to meet requirements by global investors, customers and other stakeholders.
