Student Advisory Board Member (Volunteer)
PLAN is launching a Student Advisory Board Committee to help guide the future of the organization and our relationships with campuses. We are seeking 6-8 passionate, critical students and recent graduates that are available to volunteer 2 hours every few months for a virtual board meeting.
Dates: One year commitment starting February 2018
Location: There is no requirement for geographical location of board members
Grassroots Expansion Fellow
The Grassroots Expansion Fellow will join the Campus Coordination team in expanding our network of student leaders in the zero waste movement.(Applications due Jan 22.)
Dates: Feb 19 – May 11th (with potential for future employment)
Location: Applicant must be located in the Mid-Atlantic region for the duration of the Fellowship.
Compensation: $5,000 stipend for 12 weeks

Are you passionate about food and how it relates to social and environmental causes? Do you want to work with a company that creates lasting change in the food system?Food for All mission is to curb food waste by increasing accessibility to quality food and empowering food vendors that are socially and environmentally responsible. As an ambassador, you will be on the front lines of Food for All in Boston and work closely with our marketing team. You will represent Food for All on your campus and be responsible for spreading the word about us as well as building strategic relationships. Duties include online advocacy, community-outreach efforts, promotions, ect.

Internship Description:
Safe Roads Alliance is looking for an intern to do social media for our small non-profit in road safety. The position would require a minimum of 30 minutes per day (M-F), posting relevant articles, research, and news stories about Distracted Driving, set up via Google Alerts. Since they have a national and international reach, they try to stay active on social media. Currently they have almost 13K followers on Twitter and want to be more engaged on Facebook. The internship will run from September/October to May, with the opportunity to continue into the future. Compensation: currently this would be an unpaid position.

We spotlight environmentally, socially, and economically sustainable ways of alleviating hunger, obesity, and poverty, and create networks of people, organizations, and content to push for food system change.
Food Tank (www.FoodTank.com), in partnership with The Gerald J. and Dorothy R. Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy at Tufts University, is excited to host the inaugural Boston Food Tank Summit on April 1st. This event will feature more than 35 different speakers from the food and agriculture field. Researchers, farmers, chefs, policy makers, government officials, and students will come together for interactive panels.
