If you are applying to a veterinary college for entrance next fall, the following is a general guideline which applies to the majority of veterinary colleges in theUnited States; however, make sure to check with your school’s deadlines.
June: VMCAS online applications available
July: Register for the GRE or MCAT online
August: Last month to take the MCAT
September: Generally the last month to take the GRE
October: VMCAS online application deadline for most colleges
November: Deadline for several supplemental applications
December: Begin Waiting!
January: Begin gathering information for your FAFSA application
February: File the FAFSA if you want financial aid information by April 15, Interview requests sent out
March: Go to interviews, Prepare to receive decisions
April 15: Nationally recognized deadline for your deposit/decision
