This Saturday, 4/19, is Tufts’ annual Kids Day, a day of giving back to the youth of the Medford/Somerville community. The Tufts Pre-Vet Society is taking part in this celebration by setting up a face-painting booth for kids! This is a great opportunity to give back to the community, and no experience is necessary–the kids will love anything you do! Please join us in the Campus Center from 12-5pm this Friday, February 21st for our Vested Interest in K-9s, Inc. charity bake sale! This is a combined effort on behalf of the Tufts Pre-Vet Society and Tufts Animal Welfare to raise awareness and donations for this great cause, which provides bullet- and stab-protective vests for K-9 unit police dogs throughout the country. One vest alone costs $1006 and has a five year warranty, and the organization currently has a list of over 20 dogs in need of vests. Stop by to say hello, support Vested Interest, and of course enjoy some delicious home-made treats!
