Pre-College Programs

How do vaccines work? What is diabetes? How do we treat cancer? How do our brains work? What careers might I like in healthcare and science? How do I become a doctor? Learning about medical topics can explain real-life experiences, inform health decisions and provide opportunities explore careers in medicine and science. Our pre-college summer programs are designed to be accessible to high school students and offer unique opportunities to learn about advanced medical topics using approaches that are common in medical education.

Working with the University College at Tufts, the CSE now offers three summer programs for high school students that are interested in exploring medical topics and careers. These programs are designed and taught by medical faculty and members of the CSE at Tufts University School of Medicine.
